Where it started
GoDushi began with our own trip to Curaçao. Renting a car meant a scatter of WhatsApp messages back and forth, unclear prices, and no real idea which car we would actually get until we showed up. It worked out in the end, but it felt like it could be so much better. So we started building the thing we wished we'd had.
That is the feeling of these islands, and it is what a trip here should feel like from the very first step, including renting the car that gets you around.
What we're building
GoDushi connects travellers with the local rental businesses that actually own and care for the cars, not faceless international chains. Hosts list their own cars, set their availability, and keep the relationship with their customers. Renters get the exact car they see, the full price up front, and a real person on the other end of the chat.
You book with a small deposit online and pay the rest to your host in person at pickup. No hidden fees, no surprise counter upsells, no "or similar" car. Just what you booked.
Local first, the whole region next
We are launching on Curaçao, the island we know best, and building outward across the Dutch Caribbean from there. Everything is designed to work the way business is actually done here: direct, friendly, and on island time, without breaking down when the wifi does.
