Check-in and check-out

Check-in and check-out are the two moments you record a handover. Both take under a minute, on your phone or on the web.

At pickup: check-in

Open the booking and start the check-in. You can record:

• Driver's license verified: a checkbox that stamps the moment. We never store the license itself, only that you checked it.
• Mileage and fuel level: so the return has something to compare against.
• The payment: if the balance is still open, tick "balance paid" and pick the method (debit, credit, cash or bank transfer). This completes the money picture of the booking, and generates the renter's rental invoice if you have that enabled.

Every field is optional. In a hurry, you can confirm the check-in bare and record the payment later from the booking page.

At return: check-out

Record the return mileage (the app shows the distance driven) and the fuel level, and confirm. The booking flips to completed.

Forgot a check-out?

If a trip's end date passes without a check-out, the system completes the booking automatically a day later, so your list never clogs up. The mileage and fuel fields simply stay empty for that trip.
